Directions
Pinch or cut the stalks off the beans.
Cook the beans in lightly salted water for 4 mins.
Tip the beans in a sieve to drain and arrange on a dish.
In a bowl, gradually whisk the wine vinegar into the mayonnaise.
Finely chop the garlic and whisk into the mayonnaise. Season with salt and pepper.
Pour the mayonnaise over the beans.
Cut the sun-dried tomatoes into thin strips and sprinkle over the beans.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the plaice fillets in the oil over medium heat until golden brown on the both sides. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve the plaice fillets with the bean salad and bread.
Tip
Instead of plaice, you can use dab or flounder.
