Intro

Homemade burgers.

Directions

Start by washing your hands and all the vegetables.

Take a handful of the meat and put it on a plate or chopping board. Shape the meat into 2 burgers.

Pour a little oil into a frying pan and then the burgers. Sprinkle the burgers with salt and pepper. Turn the burgers over when they are turning brown on one side. When the burgers are nearly done, top with grated cheese, which will then melt.

While the burgers are in the pan or oven, cut the tomato, red pepper and cucumber in slices, and onions in rings. Put them in different bowls so people can choose what they want in their burgers.

When the meat is nearly done, you can begin to heat the burger buns in the toaster or on a baking tray in the oven.

Put the burger in the bun with the vegetables, ketchup, mustard, remoulade, crispy onions and pickled cucumber.

Tip

You can also cook the burgers in the oven by placing them in a roasting tray and cooking at 200ºC (fan oven). This way, they will not shrink as much as they would if fried.

You can also put a little cheese on the burgers.

The burgers can also be grilled. The method is the same as if fried or baked.
