Directions

Chop the onion and garlic and peel the potatoes. Coarsely grate the potatoes.

Fry the meat in a pan, pouring off some of the liquid if necessary. Add the onion and garlic and sauté for a couple of minutes. Add the grated potatoes, water, stock cube and tomato purée to the pan and simmer for 10 mins. Season with salt, pepper and paprika.

Heat the baguettes under the grill.

Serve the soup with warm baguettes.
