5dlWater ~500 g
4tbspTomato paste ~60 g
2tbspWhite sugar ~27 g
2tspSea salt ~11 g
1tspBlack Pepper ~1.9 g
200gWholewheat macaroni
100gDiced bacon
4tbspCrème fraîche, 9% ~60 g

Directions

Chop the tomatoes and onion.

Put the chopped onion in a pan with the oil, thyme and oregano. Then add the chopped tomatoes, water, tomato purée, sugar, salt and pepper. Cover and cook the soup over low heat for approx. 30 mins.

Fry the bacon until crispy and leave to drain on a piece of kitchen roll.

Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet. Drain the pasta and add to the soup just before serving.

Serve the tomato soup with crème fraîche and bacon.
