Intro
Pita bread with crispy spiced plaice.
Directions
Mix the yoghurt with half of the salt and a little pepper.
Cut the plaice fillets into strips.
Blend the paprika, curry, breadcrumbs and the rest of the salt on a plate.
Coat the plaice fillets in the spice mix.
Heat the oil in a pan and fry the fish for 1-2 mins. Shake the pan occasionally so that the fish is fried on all sides.
Heat the pita bread according to the instructions on the packet.
Shred the iceberg lettuce and finely dice the cucumber, tomato and onion.
Fill the pita breads with the mixed salad, fish and yoghurt and serve immediately.
If you like, you can serve the pita bread, salad, yoghurt and fish in bowls on the table so that people can fill their own pitas.
Tip
Instead of plaice, you can use dab or flounder. Why not add a little crushed garlic to the yoghurt?
