1tbspOlive oil ~13.7 g
1tspSea salt ~5.5 g
350gMinced beef 6-10%
2pcs.Green bell pepper ~240 g
1pcs.Onion(s) ~75 g
8pinchBlack Pepper ~3 g
400gTomato sauce
200gGrated yellow cheese
2tbspOregano ~1.5 g

Directions

Blend the yeast in the hand-hot water. Add the oil, salt and flour. Knead the dough well.
Place a clean, damp tea towel over the bowl and leave to rise in a warm place for 30 mins.

Finely chop the pepper and onion.

Fry the meat and onion in a pan over a high heat.

Roll the dough out into a large rectangle approx. 20 x 30 cm., and spread the tomato sauce over with a knife. Top with the meat and pepper and sprinkle with cheese.
Roll the dough into a long sausage and then cut into 1 1/2 cm. thick slices.

Preheat the oven to 200º C/fan oven 180º C.

Place the pizza whirls on a baking tray lined with baking paper. Sprinkle with oregano. Bake the pizza whirls for 10-12 mins.



Tip

The recipe can be halved, or why not freeze half of the pizza whirls?
